Normally all payments are processed automatically. Once a crypto transaction is confirmed, it will be added to your balance. However, very often customers make all kinds of mistakes and things may go wrong. Sending to a wrong address Unfortunately if you have sent funds to a wrong address, most likely your money will be lost and can't be recovered. Please be very careful, and always make sure you send tokens exactly to the address that you generated. Sending a wrong crypto token Sometimes customers may generate a payment address for one token, but send another one. In particular it happens with TRON network: users choose TRX as the payment method, then send USDT to this address. Such payment won't be processed automatically, but the good news that it is not fatal. Please submit a ticket and we will manually review and credit it. Sending to a wrong network We do not support any other networks than ones listed on the payment page. If for example you generated an address for USDT Arbitrum, but sent USDT BEP-20 or USDT Polygon, we won't be able to recover your funds. Not waiting for full payment confirmation Some currencies may have much longer confirmation times than others. For example, if you chose BCH as the payment method, it may take over 30 minutes to reach the required number of confirmations. If you chose BTC but set too low mining fee, it also may take hours for the payment to confirm. Please click on the link on the payment page to open your transaction in block explorer to see the estimated confirmation time. Sending an amount that is too small Sometimes people want to cheat the platform and send micro payments just enough to get one single OTP. We did our best to make the process of registering a Tell A Bot account for SMS verification as simple and straightforward as possible, so there might not even be a need for this article. Still, there are a few important things that need to be pointed out. After watching this video: you may still have some questions left. Why do I need to input my IM? Many people prefer not to leave their actual instant messenger handle, and we are ok with that. In fact, the IM field is not actively verified. However, it is still advised that you input your real IM handle so we can use it as an alternative way to contact you in case there is ever a need for that. Why do I need to input my email? We do respect and encourage user privacy, but having a real working email is a must. There are critical actions on the platform that need confirmation: changing a password changing an email associated with your account generating or changing an API key We need to make sure that only the user who originally opened the account and has access to the email will be able to perform these actions. We are getting a mix of numbers from our provider and make some of them available for free testing. Most of these numbers are voice-over IP ones (VoIP), although it is possible that some of them will be real mobile numbers. Since these numbers are available to everyone and there are hundreds of users looking for them daily, the chances that you can use them on a high-demand website like WhatsApp or Gmail are not very high. Most likely the numbers have been already used, banned or flagged. However, they may work perfectly well for small websites that don't have as strict policies as monster platforms. You can give them a try, after all you are not paying anything. Will I be able to access the same number after a week or a month? No. You should not expect to use the same number after some time. These numbers have a short lifespan and can stop working at any moment. Please don't rely on free numbers if you are veryfying something important, or need to receive more than one verification SMS, especially over a longer period. We have warned you, free numbers may not work for some platforms and services. They are what they are: free public numbers with all the limitations that come with them. I was charged for an SMS that isn't mine

In rare cases, if you requested a number for an unknown or unsupported service, you may receive an SMS that was not intended for you and still be charged for it. Virtual numbers are not newly created - they may have been previously used by other people. Because of this, occasional unrelated or delayed messages can be delivered to the number you were provided. These can include: spam messages messages from previous owners' contacts notifications from old subscriptions messages from services used by other customers that did not match our detection patterns and were not recognized by our system So, what should I do now? Please submit a support ticket and include as much detail as possible: the number you used the date and time of your request the service / website you were trying to verify We'll review your case and do our best to resolve the issue.

I want to receive a verification SMS for a site that is not listed

If you need to receive an SMS verification code from a website that is not in the list, please use the Unknown service. It is serving exactly this purpose, to catch all incoming SMS messages that didn't match a text pattern for an existing service. Can I request adding a new service? If you are only going to receive a message 1-2 times, the easiest way for you would be to continue using the Unknown service. However, if you are able to provide some volume and commit to purchasing at least 20 numbers a day, you can submit a ticket and we will consider adding a new service. Please provide the following information: How many numbers do you commit to buying per day? What is the website name and URL? An example of the SMS message they are sending. Be aware that banking services are not allowed on the platform, and your requests to add such a service will be denied. Even if you use the Unknown service and request a verification code for a bank, it won't be delivered to you.

Can I do a voice call verification?

Many clients are asking if such feature as voice call verification is available for services that do not send SMS codes. Unfortunately there is absolutely no way to receive phone calls on our numbers. None of these verification medhods will work: forwarding incoming calls to another number detecting a caller number recording the phone call and forwarding it to you dialing digits when a phone call is received Is there anything you can do? Unfortunately no. If a website can't send an OTP in a text message, it can't be verified at Tell A Bot.

Why my SMS verification fails?

Sometimes customers complain that SMS verification fails for them and blame the phone numbers. In reality, even if they try verification with a real mobile number, not VoIP, it still may not work for them, and work for another customer one hour later. The reason for this is that some sites are extremely strict and analyze many different things during account creation and SMS verification. VoIP Numbers It is well known that certain websites do not accept VoIP numbers, while others are perfectly fine with them. Since our platform provides a mix of mobile and virtual numbers, we recommend you to keep trying other numbers until you find a working one. Your IP Address Is Marked as Suspicious This is another commong reason for verification failure. If you are using your home IP address all the time, or a datacenter VPN, or a public proxy, the site may not allow you to register, even if the number itself is perfectly fine. This is especially true on large platforms such as Google. For better results, we strongly recommend using: residential proxies mobile proxies clean IP addresses with low abuse history Your Browser Fingerprint Is Detected This is the other thing you have to consider. Many websites these days advanced technologies to identify suspicious users. Their systems are designed around the idea that each person should normally have only one account. There can be many factors they analyze, including: time zone, and whether it matches your IP address browser language canvas fingerprint WebGL fingerprint Even if your IP and phone number are good, but you are using the same browser for multiple registration, the sites will see that and block you. That is why using specialized anti-detect browsers is essentially a must of you are creating accounts on such sites. We can't recomment anything specific, but our customers were using Fingerprint Switcher and BitBrowser, and had good results. Final Thoughts Successful SMS verification depends on many factors working together. The phone number is only one part of the equation. IP quality, browser fingerprint, device consistency, and user behavior all play an important role.
